أَلقُradiance الشموسِthe suns لهاfor her منamong الأفوافِthe patterned robes
أَلقُ الشموسِ لها من الأفوافِ
A remembrance that faithful time repeats,
A memory echoed by time, the faithful one
The suns' radiance is among her patterned robes.
I cast the suns for it from horizons

She shone throughout the years, and her life
It shone over the years and its age
is the life of heroism, [pulsing] through every heart's depths,
Is the age of epic that attained all yearning

Permeated with the zeal of knights, defending
those who hold back toward abundant immortality.
Those who shrink into eternal refuge

Today is the day of our prayer to her majesty;
Today is our day of prayers for its glory
and today we recite to her our full tenderness.
And today we read it the affectionate fidelity

شَهمٍ وليس على الأبىّ بخافَ
It was not hidden from a seeker of inspiration,
What was hidden from the inspired one
noble-hearted, nor is it hidden from the unbowed.
Of ambition, but not from the intrepid one

Indeed, we sons of the free know her worth,
We, the children of the free, know its value
and discern her in light and visions,
And ensconce it in light and horizons

No glory lasts shining
gracious, despite ravaging death.
Except truth, despite the mismatch

Like the stars and their lucid light

Never shall the tyrants reach them, though perhaps
Alas, the tyrants cannot comprehend it
they bowed before them, despite their proud noses.
And perhaps bowed to it against their noses

A day will come for their judges' reckoning
will be those bones, with the wrath of justice.
Those bones in anger and equity

This ether and spread in benevolence

A day like this day, nations in agony shout in joy at it
the hearts of suffering peoples with my cry.

And it is cherished by the world that dreamed of it
My dreams, and the thousands' surge of zeal
as I dreamed; and the leap of thousands roars.
