I breathe their scent, for I see them as the poetry of gods,

أحنوI show tenderness عليهاtoward them كأنيas though I were عاشقa lover وأبand a father
أحنو عليها كأني عاشق وأب
أوor أنهاthat they خلقتwere created منfrom قلبheart الحانيthe tender one
أو أنها خلقت من قلب الحاني
I cherish them, as though I were a lover and a father,
I pity them as if I were a lover and father
Or as though they were created from the tender one's heart.
Or as if they were created from the heart of an affectionate one.
