Blessings and cheers when free people are gathered
Blessed and joyful are the free when united,
by a festival, and united by a human being's liberation.
Their celebration and friendship liberates man,

The earth has no glory if slaves tread upon it,
No glory to the land where slaves tread,
nor if it is made to serve idols and graven images.
And bend to idols and statues.

If this month has brought forth roses in splendor,
Though roses bloom beautifully this month,
then its fairest is the liberation of slaves.
More beautiful is the liberation of slaves.

The free world, its life and glory,
and surrounded it with hymns and Qur'anic recitation,
And it was protected by hymns and the Quran,

شوقا لفك قيود البائس العاني
On a day like this, justice rose in revolt,
On such a day, truth rose in might
yearning to break the chains of the wretched captive.
Yearning to free the suffering weary one,

Thus justice became one with the people,
So truth mingled with the public
after it had been the inheritance of the brutal wrongdoer.
After being an inheritance of the oppressive tyrant,

What whisper then equals its awe?

But obedience with free will and faith.

Each year we celebrate its festival with passion,
Whenever we celebrate its holiday eagerly
like a flood amid the longing of rivers and pools,
Like the outpouring of passion of rivers and brooks,

From struggle, injustice and lies.

A child in the bosom of gardens.
