Ḍād arose in my mouth out of love for you,

and there it is a greeting and a smile.
In the curves of passion there are traits
إِنَّindeed فيin يَلدِزِYildiz الهَوىof love لَخِلالاsurely virtues
أَناI am صَبٌّa passionate lover بِلُطفِهاby their grace مُستَهامُutterly enthralled
Truly, in love's Yildiz there are virtues
I am drunk on its subtlety, entranced
whose grace leaves me a lover utterly enthralled.
It appeared for the best full moon and waned

They have shone forth for the finest full moon they bore,
Revealing signs of perfection
in a perfection whose signs stand revealed.
So adhere always to completeness, O moon
فَاِلزَمِso cling to!

So cleave to fullness, O full moon, always,
And you, completeness, adhere to the moon.
and cleave to the full moon, O fullness!
