حسبت حكمة الإلة بضاعة
Minds jostled him on the road,
I met him on the road with minds
taking God's wisdom for merchandise.
That thought God's wisdom merchandise,
واطمأنتand trusted إلىin الرقاعthe scraps of paper ولكنand yet
واطمأنت إلى الرقاع ولكن
لمdid not تزدهاadd to them الرقاعthe scraps of paper إلاexcept رقاعةfoolishness
لم تزدها الرقاع إلا رقاعة
And they placed their trust in scraps of paper, yet
And put their trust in scraps, but found
the scraps added nothing to them but foolishness.
That scraps just leave them more in scraps.
