He who defied the rein yielded to beauty.

And your eyes sought a thing, and so it came to be.

Your eyelids live to sow hopes

Or sorrow in the heart of one who hopes and suffers.

O you whose excessive pride knows no end,

I fear that time will run out on us.

And O you, so full of coquetry in your glory,

Do not forget my dignity just before abasement.

And O you, so full of conceit, be gentle—for there is no

One who denies that you are the adornment of the fair.
