Sol 6.1

  1. للناس في أمثالهم

    حِكم لحافظها مفيده

    People have, in their proverbs,

    wise sayings, useful to those who remember them.

  2. الحر يكفيه اللوا

    والعبد يقرع بالجريدة

    The free man needs only the banner;

    and the slave is struck with a palm stalk.
