وَجَنّاتٍ مِنَ الأَشعارِ فيها

وَجَنّاتٍ مِنَ الأَشعارِ فيها

جَنىً لِلمُجتَني مِن كُلِّ ذَوقِ

جَنىً لِلمُجتَني مِن كُلِّ ذَوقِ

And gardens of verse, within which

And gardens of poetry in which

Lies fruit for the gatherer, of every taste.

There is fruit to be plucked by those with every taste

تَأَمَّل كَم تَمَنّوها وَأَرِّخ

تَأَمَّل كَم تَمَنّوها وَأَرِّخ

لِشَوقِيّاتِ أَحمَدَ أَيَّ شَوقِ

لِشَوقِيّاتِ أَحمَدَ أَيَّ شَوقِ

Consider how much they longed for them, and record the date:
