إذا حلت ركابك أرض طه

إذا حلت ركابك أرض طه

وشاهدت الضياء من الستار

وشاهدت الضياء من الستار

When your mounts alight in the land of Ta-Ha,

When your feet tread the land of Taha

and you behold the radiance from the curtain,

And you see the radiance from the veil

ومتعت الناظر في حماه

ومتعت الناظر في حماه

وفزت من الحبيب بخير جار

وفزت من الحبيب بخير جار

and delight your gaze within his sanctuary,

And the beholder delights in its splendor

and gain the Beloved as the finest neighbor,

And you obtain the best neighbor from the beloved

وقال المصطفى أهلا وسهلا

وقال المصطفى أهلا وسهلا

لأنت من الورى طر خياري

لأنت من الورى طر خياري

and the Chosen One says, “Welcome!

And Al-Mustafa said welcome and greetings

Of all creation, you are indeed my chosen one,”

For you are the best creation in the world

وقد ضمن الشفيع لك المعالى

وقد ضمن الشفيع لك المعالى

وفوزا مذ حللت بذا المزار

وفوزا مذ حللت بذا المزار

and the Intercessor has guaranteed you lofty honors

And the intercessor has guaranteed for you the highest places

and triumph, since you alighted at this shrine,

And success since you visited this shrine

فقل يا خير خلق الله عندى

فقل يا خير خلق الله عندى

then say, “O best of God's creation, I have

So say, O best of Allah's creation, I have

a message from one who hopes to be kindly remembered.

A message from someone hopeful of good thoughts

بها يرجو الخلاص من البوار

بها يرجو الخلاص من البوار

A message from Ahmad al-Hamlawi has come;

A message Ahmad Al-Hamlawi has come with

through it, he hopes for deliverance from perdition.

Seeking salvation from misfortune through you

ويأمل أن يؤم حماك يوما

ويأمل أن يؤم حماك يوما

ويحظى من جنابك بانتصار

ويحظى من جنابك بانتصار

And he hopes one day to visit your sanctuary

And hoping to someday pray in your company

and be favored with victory from your noble presence.”

And attain triumph through you

وبلغ من بحجرته سلامى

وبلغ من بحجرته سلامى

وأنت بروضة الجنات ساري

وأنت بروضة الجنات ساري

And convey my greetings to the one in his chamber,

And convey my greetings from his cell

as you journey by night in the garden of Paradise.

While you are strolling in the gardens of Paradise

وفي عرفات آمل منك ذكرا

وفي عرفات آمل منك ذكرا

وأرجو فكرتي وقت الجمار

وأرجو فكرتي وقت الجمار

And at Arafat, I hope you will remember me,

And at Arafat I hope for your mention

and I hope you will think of me when casting the pebbles.

And I wish for my thoughts during the pelting of pebbles

أرانا الله وجهك في سرور

أرانا الله وجهك في سرور

وبلغت المقاصد يا خياري

وبلغت المقاصد يا خياري

May God let us see your face in joy,

May Allah show us your face in joy

and may you attain your goals, O my chosen one.

And may you attain your goals, O best of men
