A glance from you is a boon and a gift.

Who but you is worthy to give?

For your being pleased with me dispels my sickness,

    and is a cure, O grandfather—what a cure!

So, by the sanctity of the Qur'an and the sacred Law, visit me,

with a visit through which my suffering vanishes.

And, by the sanctity of al-Batul and the Family, stand by me,

and, by the sanctity of al-Husayn, fulfill my hope.
