Every person may seek refuge with one who is generous,
Every person may seek refuge with someone generous.
And in the Beloved’s House lies the glory of my appeal.
And my refuge with the Beloved's family is strong.

Through them I cry for help against a people’s tyranny,
So I seek their help against the tyranny of people
Whose constant practice, all their striving, is to harm me.
Who each make harming me their habit and endeavor.
