لَهُhe has خَلائِقُqualities لَمnot تُطبَعwere molded عَلىupon طَبعٍa pattern
لَهُ خَلائِقُ لَم تُطبَع عَلى طَبعٍ
وَنائِلٌand bounty وَصَلَتhave joined أَسبابُهُits bonds سَبَبيmy bond
وَنائِلٌ وَصَلَت أَسبابُهُ سَبَبي
He has qualities cast in no mold,
He has qualities unmatched in nature
And bounty whose bonds have joined my own.
An achiever, whose means have led to my path
كَالغَيثِlike rain يُعطيكَhe gives you بَعدَafter الرّيِّthe quenching of thirst وابِلهُhis downpour
كَالغَيثِ يُعطيكَ بَعدَ الرّيِّ وابِلهُ
وَلَيسَand he does not يُعطيكَgive you ماwhat يُعطيكَhe gives you عَنin response to طَلَبِa request
وَلَيسَ يُعطيكَ ما يُعطيكَ عَن طَلَبِ
Like rain, he gives you his downpour after your thirst is quenched,
Like rain, he gives you plenty after drought
And what he gives you, he gives without being asked.
Not giving you anything unsolicited
