انظر لأوراق الربيع وقد بدت
محمرَّةًreddened فيamid صفرةthe yellowness الأشجارِof the trees
محمرَّةً في صفرة الأشجارِ
Look upon the leaves of spring, now come into view,
Look at the leaves of spring, which have appeared
reddened amid the yellowing of the trees,
Red amid the yellow of the trees;
وكأنَّهاand as though they were لماwhen تبدَّتemerged بينهاamong them
وكأنَّها لما تبدَّت بينها
شفقٌa twilight glow تبدَّىappeared فيin سماءa sky نُضارِof pure gold
شفقٌ تبدَّى في سماء نُضارِ
as though, when they appeared among them,
And when they emerged among them, they seemed like
they were twilight appearing in a daytime sky.
A twilight glow appearing in a sky of pure gold.
