    and the sand dune in your swaying steps.

  3. لست هاروت ولكن

    سحره من حركاتكْ

    You are not Harut, and yet

    his magic comes from your movements.

  4. عظَّم الله بصبري

    أجر ماضي لحظاتكْ

    May God, through my patience, magnify

    the reward for your piercing glances.

  5. أنا والله قتيلٌ

    هالكٌ من نظراتكْ

    I am, by God, slain,

    destroyed by your looks.

  6. جرحت قلبي وهذا

    شاهدي في وجناتكْ

    You wounded my heart, and this

    is my proof upon your cheeks.

  7. أنا أستبقي حياتي

    لتُقَضَّى في حياتكْ

    I preserve my life

    so that it may be spent within yours.

  8. كيف تعصيك حياةٌ

    هي من بعض هباتكْ
