فاعجب لفرقِ قضائها

وتعيثُ في أعضائها

وتعيثُ في أعضائها

for lions devour the oryx

The lion pounces and feeds on the docile beast

and ravage their limbs,

Ravaging its limbs

والنَّمل عظمٌ واحدٌ

والنَّمل عظمٌ واحدٌ

منها يفي برضائها

منها يفي برضائها

while for ants, a single bone

Yet a single ant bone

from the oryx suffices to satisfy them.
