بحمدwith praise of اللهGod تفتحُare opened الرسائلthe letters
بحمد الله تفتحُ الرسائل
وصلِّand invoke blessings علىupon المقدمِthe foremost فيin الوسائلthe means of approach
وصلِّ على المقدمِ في الوسائل
With praise of God, letters are opened.
With God's praise, messages open,
And invoke blessings upon the foremost in intercession:
Send blessings upon the foremost of messengers,
محمدِMuhammad خاتمِseal of الأرسالِthe messengers أسمىthe loftiest
محمدِ خاتمِ الأرسالِ أسمى
شفيعٍintercessor فيamong الأواخرِthe last والأوائلand the first
شفيعٍ في الأواخرِ والأوائل
Muhammad, seal of the messengers, the loftiest
Muhammad, the seal of prophets, most high,
intercessor among the last and the first.
Intercessor at first and last.
