وعلى عهدٌ إن ظَفِرتُ بِقُربِكُم

وعلى عهدٌ إن ظَفِرتُ بِقُربِكُم

لَبَذلتُ مني الروحَ دون تَوَقُّفِ

لَبَذلتُ مني الروحَ دون تَوَقُّفِ

And I pledge: if I attain nearness to you,

I loved you more than myself

I would surely give my soul without hesitation,

I would have given my soul without hesitation

ولثمتُ تُربَ بِساط أسمى مالِكٍ

ولثمتُ تُربَ بِساط أسمى مالِكٍ

في لَثمِهِ عزي ونَيلِ تَشرُّفي

في لَثمِهِ عزي ونَيلِ تَشرُّفي

And I would kiss the dust of the most exalted master's carpet;

And kissed the dust of the carpet of the highest angel

In kissing it lie my glory and my attainment of honor.

In its kiss is my pride and attainment of nobility
