بَشيرherald الهَناjoy وَالانسand companionship أَقبلcame رافِعاًraising
بَشير الهَنا وَالانس أَقبل رافِعاً
لَواءbanner الصَفاserenity مُذهلdazzling أَكرَمnoblest وَلودprolific parent
لَواء الصَفا مُذهل أَكرَم وَلود
The herald of joy and companionship came, raising
The harbinger of joy and humanity arrived
the banner of serenity, dazzling the noblest of prolific parents.
Raising the banner of purity, amazing most noble birth
هُوَhe النجلthe son مَنwho أَضحىbecame لَبيباًwise مَجداًillustrious
هُوَ النجل مَن أَضحى لَبيباً مَجداً
بِأُفقat the horizon of العُلاeminence وَالعزand honor أَولfirst مَسعودblessed
بِأُفق العُلا وَالعز أَول مَسعود
He is the son who has become wise and illustrious,
He is the son who became great glory
at the horizon of eminence and honor, the first to be blessed.
At the horizon of highest honor and power, the first of the fortunate
بِمَولدهat his birth نالattained الزَمانtime مَسَرةdelight
بِمَولده نال الزَمان مَسَرة
وَفازَand gained بِأُنسwith companionship كاملperfect كُلevery مَولودnewborn
وَفازَ بِأُنس كامل كُل مَولود
At his birth, Time attained delight,
With his birth, time attained happiness
and every newborn gained perfect companionship.
And every newborn won perfect joy
وَبَدرand the full moon of سُعودgood fortunes الأنسcompanionship قالsaid مُؤرِخاًrecording the date
وَبَدر سُعود الأنس قال مُؤرِخاً
بِخَيرwith the blessings of الصَفاserenity وَالعزand honor مَولدbirth مَحمودMahmud
بِخَير الصَفا وَالعز مَولد مَحمود
And the full moon of companionship’s good fortunes said, recording the date:
The full moon of humanity's joy declared, chronicling:
“With the blessings of serenity and honor comes Mahmud’s birth.”
"With the best purity and power, praised be this birth"
