سُعو الهَنا لاحَت بِأَعظَم مَولد

سُعو الهَنا لاحَت بِأَعظَم مَولد

لِنجل كَريم الأَصل خَير مبجل

لِنجل كَريم الأَصل خَير مبجل

The [good fortunes] of joy shone at a most glorious birth,

The joy here shone for the greatest birth

for a son of noble lineage, virtuous and revered.

Of a son of noble origin, best of the eminent

لِوالده البُشرى بعز وَجوده

لِوالده البُشرى بعز وَجوده

وَنَيل التَهاني يَوم وافى وَفي غَد

وَنَيل التَهاني يَوم وافى وَفي غَد

For his father, glad tidings through the glory of his existence,

For his father good tidings of might and existence

and congratulations received on the day he arrived and on the morrow.

And receiving congratulations the day he fulfilled and will fulfill tomorrow

وَلضما بَدا بِالبشر قُلت مُؤرِخاً

وَلضما بَدا بِالبشر قُلت مُؤرِخاً

سَعيداً بِصَفو الخَير مَولد سَيد

سَعيداً بِصَفو الخَير مَولد سَيد

And [when] he appeared with gladness, I spoke, recording the date:

And when he appeared among mankind, I said, recording

“Happy amid pure goodness is the birth of a lord.”

Happy with the sincerity of good, the birth of a master
