أَياO حسناHasan أَبشرrejoice فَسَعدكfor your good fortune قَدindeed وَفاreached fulfillment
أَيا حسنا أَبشر فَسَعدك قَد وَفا
بِخَيرwith the finest زَفافwedding بِالصَفاwith purity حسنfine الوَفاfidelity
بِخَير زَفاف بِالصَفا حسن الوَفا
O Hasan, rejoice, for your good fortune is now complete.
O beauty, rejoice, for your bliss has been fulfilled
With the finest wedding, graced by purity and fine fidelity.
With the fine betrothal, in purity and faithfulness
فَفزso gain بِزَفافa wedding أَنتَyou شَمسthe sun سُعودهits good fortunes
فَفز بِزَفاف أَنتَ شَمس سُعوده
وَبَدرand the full moon عُلاهits glory بِالتَهانيwith congratulations لَقَدindeed صَفاbecame clear
وَبَدر عُلاه بِالتَهاني لَقَد صَفا
So enjoy the wedding—you are the sun of its good fortune,
You have won a wedding, you are the sun of fortune
And the full moon of its glory, now truly radiant amid congratulations.
The full moon of sublime, with congratulations it has become clear
زَفافa wedding بِهِthrough it الأَيامthe days تَزهوglow مَحاسِناbeauties
زَفاف بِهِ الأَيام تَزهو مَحاسِنا
وَصارَتand became بِهِthrough it الأَفراحjoys أَبهىmore splendid وَأَشرَفاand nobler
وَصارَت بِهِ الأَفراح أَبهى وَأَشرَفا
A wedding through which the days glow with beauty,
A wedding in which the days bloom beautifully
And through which joys have become more splendid and nobler.
And through it joy has become more splendid and noble
وَأَضحىand became لَهُfor it المَجدglory الرَفيعlofty مُؤرِخاًrecording the date
وَأَضحى لَهُ المَجد الرَفيع مُؤرِخاً
بِخَيرwith blessings زَفافa wedding جاءَhas come ياO حسنHasan الصَفاpurity
بِخَير زَفاف جاءَ يا حسن الصَفا
And lofty glory now records its date:
And for it sublime glory has become recorded in history
“A wedding has come with blessings, O Hasan of purity.”
With the fine betrothal that has come, O faithful beauty
