May your eminence endure in good fortune, O our Khedive.
Our hopes in you endure, oh virtuous Viceroy,
And the wellspring of goodness bestows upon us from your bounty.
And from your generosity springs bounty that sustains us.

And in your right hand is good fortune that has flowed through creation,
In your right hand lies auspicious destiny,
And in your left hand is ease; goodness guides us.
While your left grants us ease and comfort.

Wherever you go justice readily complies,
Urging the riding camels onward and turning us toward fairness.
Urging your steed while equity makes way.

Through you the supreme State became nobler,
And how often, through your honoring—only upon our congratulations [wording unclear].
And through your grace we attained supreme joy.

All humankind, while good fortune said, 'Amen.'
Crying "Glad tidings!" when fortune smiled upon us.

Of your outstanding merit—may God preserve our Viceroy!
