رَأَيت أَولى فَضل وَنُخبة أَخبار

رَأَيت أَولى فَضل وَنُخبة أَخبار

فَقُلت لَهُم هَل عِندَكُم بَعض أَخبار

I saw men of merit and a select group of knowledgeable men.

I saw the best of merit and excellence of news

So I said to them, “Do you have any news?”

So I said to them, do you have any news?

أَشاروا بِأَيديهم جَميعاً لِناظر

أَشاروا بِأَيديهم جَميعاً لِناظر

وَقالوا رَأَينا في المَحطة زاخارى

وَقالوا رَأَينا في المَحطة زاخارى

They all pointed with their hands to an overseer.

They gestured with their hands altogether to the onlooker

And they said, “We saw Zakhari at the station.”

And said, we saw chaos at the station
