السَعد أَقبل بِالمَسَرة وَالهَنا

السَعد أَقبل بِالمَسَرة وَالهَنا

وَالدَهر لاحَ بِما يَروق مَحاسِنا

وَالدَهر لاحَ بِما يَروق مَحاسِنا

Good fortune has come with joy and bliss.

Happiness came with joy and delight,

And time shone with enchanting beauties.

And time shone with beauty and grace.

وَالأنس وافى بِالأَماني مُشرفا

وَالأنس وافى بِالأَماني مُشرفا

إِذ هَلَ مَولد صالح نَجل الهَنا

إِذ هَلَ مَولد صالح نَجل الهَنا

And gladness arrived with hopes, rising high,

Contentment fulfilled hopes and wishes,

When the birth of Salih, son of bliss, dawned.

When the birth of Salih, the delight's son, arrived.

هُوَ ماجد عَن ماجد عَن ماجد

هُوَ ماجد عَن ماجد عَن ماجد

اللَه يَبقيه وَيَحفظه لَنا

اللَه يَبقيه وَيَحفظه لَنا

He is noble, sprung from a noble man, sprung from a noble man.

He is glorious, from the glorious, from the glorious,

May God keep him alive and protect him for us.

May God sustain him and protect him for us.

وَيَدوم وَالده العَزيز مُمتعا

وَيَدوم وَالده العَزيز مُمتعا

بِسعوده وَيَعيش في أَبهي سَنا

بِسعوده وَيَعيش في أَبهي سَنا

And may his dear father live on, enjoying

And may his noble father live long, delighted

His good fortune, and live in the brightest radiance.

By his joy, and live in brilliant years.

أَكرَم بِهِ مِن والد مَولوده

أَكرَم بِهِ مِن والد مَولوده

وَرث العُلا عَنهُ فَدام لَهُ السَنا

وَرث العُلا عَنهُ فَدام لَهُ السَنا

How noble a father he is! His newborn

His father honored him more than any father honors his son,

Inherited eminence from him—may radiance endure for him.

He inherited glory from him, may glory last for him.

وَلهُ الصَفا أَضحي يَقول مُؤرِخاً

وَلهُ الصَفا أَضحي يَقول مُؤرِخاً

نَبني بِمَولد صالح بُشرى المُنا

نَبني بِمَولد صالح بُشرى المُنا

And pure joy began to say for him, marking the date:

And for him is purity, it became saying, narrating:

With Salih's birth, we build glad tidings of hopes.

"With Salih's birth we bring glad tidings of wishes fulfilled."
