أَهلfamily of محمدMuhammad أَبشِرواrejoice
أَهل محمد أَبشِروا
بعلاin the heights of مَجدglory جَديدnew
بعلا مَجد جَديد
O family of Muhammad, rejoice
in the heights of new glory.
جاءَكُمhas come to you مِيلادهhis birth
جاءَكُم مِيلاده
فيin صَفاserenity of الوَقتthe time السَعيدhappy
في صَفا الوَقت السَعيد
His birth has come to you
in the serenity of this happy time.
دامَmay he remain مَحفوظاًprotected لَكُمfor you
دامَ مَحفوظاً لَكُم
وَلَهُand for him العُمرlife المَديدlong
وَلَهُ العُمر المَديد
May he remain protected for you,
and may his life be long.
فَاِجعَلواso make تاريخَهُhis chronogram
فَاِجعَلوا تاريخَهُ
دائِماًalways بَيتverse of القَصيدthe poem
دائِماً بَيت القَصيد
So let his chronogram
forever be the poem’s finest verse:
أَحمدAhmad نَجلson of العُلاeminence
أَحمد نَجل العُلا
خَيرbest مَولودnewborn سَعيدfortunate
خَير مَولود سَعيد
Ahmad, scion of eminence,
the best of fortunate newborns.
