قَضى أَحمد خَير فَريضة حَجه

وَأَدى إِلى مَولاه أَبهى المَناسك

وَأَدى إِلى مَولاه أَبهى المَناسك

Ahmad fulfilled the finest obligation—his pilgrimage.

Ahmad fulfilled the best obligation of his pilgrimage

And performed the most splendid rites for his Lord.

And offered to his Lord the most splendid rituals

وزار نبيا أكرم الخلق في الورى

وزار نبيا أكرم الخلق في الورى

فنال بمسعاه جميل السالك

فنال بمسعاه جميل السالك

And visited a prophet, the noblest of creation among humankind.

He visited the Prophet, the most noble of creation

So through his striving he gained the wayfarer’s favor.

So he attained by his journey the beautiful rewards

هنيئاً له فالمجد قال مؤرخاً

هنيئاً له فالمجد قال مؤرخاً

زها الصفو يا خيري بحج مبارك

زها الصفو يا خيري بحج مبارك

Joy to him! Then Glory said, recording the date:

Congratulations to him, for glory said the chronicler

Serenity shone, O Khayri, with a blessed pilgrimage.

This purity adorns you, O Khayri, with a blessed Hajj
