مَحطةa station فيin قَوصQus مَمقوتةdetested
مَحطة في قَوص مَمقوتة
وَكَمand how many حَوَتit has harbored مِنof ظالمan oppressor فاجرwicked
وَكَم حَوَت مِن ظالم فاجر
A detested station in Qus.
A station in despised ambush,
And how many a wicked oppressor it has harbored!
How much evil and darkness it harbored,
وَكَمand how much نَشاarose تَزويرfraud عمالهاits workers
وَكَم نَشا تَزوير عمالها
وَمالهاand it has no فيin الكَونthe world مِنany ساترone who conceals
وَمالها في الكَون مِن ساتر
And how much fraud has sprung from its workers!
How much forgery its workers have spun,
And in all the world it has no one to cover it.
With nothing in the universe to conceal it,
وَأَصبَحَتand it has become بَينَamong الوَرىhumankind عَورةan exposed shame
وَأَصبَحَت بَينَ الوَرى عَورة
فَلَعنةso the curse اللَهof God عَلىupon الناظرthe overseer
فَلَعنة اللَه عَلى الناظر
And it has become an exposed shame among humankind.
It has become indecent among nations,
So may God's curse be upon the overseer.
So may God's curse be upon the beholder.
