For she faces what she chooses,

And what she faces is a momentous destiny.

The mighty one came to you, offering his pledge,

So you bore the pledge among all you bear.

Their hatreds and treachery fading from sight.

And he upheld the right insistently proclaimed

By God's books and loudly voiced by the messengers.

It was so sublime that its vastness could not be contained

By endless time, and eternity past fell short.

And you were gracious, leaving anyone who

Complains no excuse to contrive.

After the nations have praised it?

The throne admired it, rejoicing,

And the people went on celebrating it.

Your sound resolve left a lasting mark

Where stratagems had failed you.

You know best, in what you have undertaken,

How ailments are approached and treated.

ومن ارتد ضلالاً يعقل

ومن ارتد ضلالاً يعقل

Whoever wrongfully opposed you has almost found guidance,

And whoever turned back in error has almost seen reason.

أنت بانيه الحكيم البطل

And yours is the power that guards a hope;

You are its builder—the sage, the hero.
