It was said: Abd al-Aziz makes merry so that
he may face the enemy firmer in resolve.

يتركleave السكرdrunkenness فيهin him بالأمرconcerning the matter علماknowledge
يترك السكر فيه بالأمر علما
It was said: Abd al-Aziz makes merry lest
