فذا ثغر له أشر وظلم

فذا ثغر له أشر وظلم

وعذب والملاحة والمدام

وعذب والملاحة والمدام

So this mouth has fine-edged teeth and lustre,

And sweetness, loveliness, and wine.

وذاك هو النصاب ولا يزكّى

وذاك هو النصاب ولا يزكّى

لأنّ به المدام وذا حرام

لأنّ به المدام وذا حرام

And that meets the zakat threshold, yet no zakat is paid on it,

For it contains wine, and that is forbidden.
