Sol 6.1

  1. واللّه ما لي سوى الله الكريم وقد

    أقسمت بالله ما عندي سوى الله

    By God, I have none but God, the Generous; and indeed

    I have sworn by God: I have none but God.

  2. أسّست أمري على الله القوي ومن

    بالله تاسيسه كفاه تالله

    I founded my affairs on God, the Strong; and whoever

    has his foundation in God, He suffices him—by God.

  3. رميت تالله غير الله نحمده

    إذ وفقني لرمي ما سوى الله

    I cast aside, by God, all but God; we praise Him,

    for He enabled me to cast aside all but God.

  4. وليس يهدم بل يبني ويحفظ بل

    تزداد نعمته فضلا من الله

    He does not destroy, but builds and protects; indeed,

    His blessing grows, a bounty from God.

  5. يا الله زدنا وزد بنياننا أبدا

    مشيدا بالترقي في رضىالله

    O God, increase us, and forever raise our edifice,

    built high through advancement in God's good pleasure.

  6. يا الله يا الله يا إلهي خذ بيدي

    ولتكفني ربنا يا الله بالله

    O God, O God, O my God, take me by the hand.

    And suffice me, our Lord, O God, by God.

  7. يا الله يا الله لاتشمت بنا وبمن

    أحبنا حسدا بغير الله

    O God, O God, do not make us or those

    who love us a cause for the envious to gloat, through any but God.

  8. يا الله واشف لمرضانا وعاف لنا

    من كل سقم بنا بأحرف الله

    O God, heal our sick and grant us well-being,

    from every sickness within us, through the letters of God.

  9. يا الله واقض لحوجانا بأسرع من

    طرف العيون تكرّما من الله

    O God, fulfill our needs more swiftly than

    the blinking of eyes, through generosity from God.

  10. يا الله فرج أيا الله كربى وفرجن

    للمؤمنين تفريجا من الله

    O God, relieve—O God—my distress, and surely grant relief

    to the believers, a deliverance from God.

  11. واحفظ من العين والأسحار أجعنا

    يا الله والكيد حفظ الذكر بالله

    And protect us all from the evil eye and sorceries,

    O God, and from guile, as the Remembrance is guarded, by God.

  12. يا الله إنا تحصّنا بحصنك يا

    الله حصن لنا يا الله يا الله

    O God, we have sought shelter in Your fortress, O

    God, be a fortress for us, O God, O God.

  13. يا الله واحفظ ذرارينا مسلّمة

    مما يشين وقاية من الله

    O God, keep our offspring safe

    from all that disgraces, through protection from God.

  14. أسعد لنا وأطل أعمارنا كرما

    يا الله يا الله إكراما من الله

    Grant us happiness and prolong our lives in generosity,

    O God, O God, as an honor from God.

  15. يا الله في أنعم مكرّمين وفي

    عزّ من الله في فضل من الله

    O God, amid blessings, honored, and in

    glory from God, in bounty from God.

  16. وابسط علينا من الأرزاق أكثرها

    من كل ناحية بسطا من الله

    And lavish upon us the most abundant sustenance,

    from every direction, an outpouring from God.

  17. ولاتكلنا إلى تدبير أنفسنا

    يا الله يا الله تدبيرا من الله

    And do not leave us to the management of our own selves,

    O God, O God—let our affairs be ordered by God.

  18. غفرانك الله فاغفر ذنبنا كرما

    يا الله يا الله رحمة من الله

    Your forgiveness, O God! Forgive our sin in generosity.

    O God, O God, as mercy from God.

  19. واجعلن مجمع كل الخير منقبةً

    وشمس دهري منة من الله

    And make me a meeting place for all good in virtue,

    and the sun of my age—a favor from God.

  20. ناشدتك الله يا الله الكريم أغث

    هذا العبيد أيا إلهي بالله

    I implore You by God, O generous God: rescue

    this humble servant, O my God, by God.

  21. ملقى ببابك لابباب غيرك مض

    طرا فلا له سوى الله

    Cast at Your door, not at another's, in desperate

    need; for he has none but God.

  22. يا الله يا الله يا الله بالله

    دارك عبيدك يا الله يا الله

    O God, O God, O God, by God,

    come to Your humble servant's aid, O God, O God.

  23. وصل وسلم على رسولنا وأجب

    لطف دعاك بذا وعدا من الله

    And bless and grant peace to our Messenger, and answer

    in kindness the one who called on You thus, as promised by God.
