A gazelle of clear skies—I am enamored of her,
A doe awake, I'm infatuated with her
With a love that has hidden itself, lying concealed, yet plainly evident.
An infatuation concealed yet manifest
لقدindeed قدرdecreed اللهGod العظيمthe Almighty غرامهاlove for her
لقد قدر الله العظيم غرامها
عليّupon me دواماforever والمقّرand what is settled كائنٌcomes to pass
عليّ دواما والمقّر كائنٌ
Indeed, God the Almighty has decreed love for her
Indeed God Almighty destined her love
Upon me forever—and what is settled comes to pass.
For me lasting, and the confessor exists
