إذا كان أمري في يديك صلاحهُ

إذا كان أمري في يديك صلاحهُ

فأصلحه كربي ففرجه حيث حل

فأصلحه كربي ففرجه حيث حل

If setting my affair right lies in your hands,

If my matter is in your hands, then amend it

Then set it right; relieve my distress wherever it has settled.

My distress, relieve it wherever it befalls

وإن لم يكونا في يديك إلا هنا

وإن لم يكونا في يديك إلا هنا

فسيّان عندي فيهما كلّ ما فعل

فسيّان عندي فيهما كلّ ما فعل

And if the two are not in your hands except here,

And if there is naught in your hands but this:

Then whatever is done concerning them is all the same to me.

Then to me they are equal, all that you have done
