The creed of struggle—and now it is too late for struggle.

Joyful, plunging ever deeper into harm and corruption.

Falling torn apart without a fight.

They were the enemy, but beneath its shade they became
The people most worthy of fellowship and affection.

None of us would be left to go out at evening or dawn.

Truth is radiant, with recognizable landmarks,
And success appears, its glad omens shining.
