Is it the creed of honor, or the creed of humiliation?
Do I owe allegiance to honor or disgrace?

And is there anything for you both but what you hope for?
And what else for you two to hope for?

And I have never seen, when favors are sought,
And I did not see, when hands were sought
anything to match fine words and eloquence.
Like excellent words and eloquence

Not the king of Syria and who rules it
like the one you both came to, seeking compassion.
As the one you met pleading for
