There is no end to complaints about

The complaints about life never end,

this world for a free man while he lives.

For there is bitterness in living.

فاذا سمعت بانه

فاذا سمعت بانه

لم يشك فهو مع الرفات

لم يشك فهو مع الرفات

So if you hear that he

And if you hear of one who does not complain,

has not complained, then he is among the mortal remains.

Then know he is with the dead.
