إن النساء حيثما كنّ سوى

إن النساء حيثما كنّ سوى

يملن من حيث أتاهنَّ الهوى

يملن من حيث أتاهنَّ الهوى

Indeed, women, wherever they may be, are alike;

Wherever women are, except

They lean in the direction from which desire comes to them.

They become bored wherever desire takes them

لا يغرُرَنَّ الغِرّ منهنّ تقىً

لا يغرُرَنَّ الغِرّ منهنّ تقىً

ولا هُدى ولا نهىً ولا حيَا

ولا هُدى ولا نهىً ولا حيَا

Let not their piety deceive the naïve man,

Do not be fooled by the chaste ones among them

Nor guidance, nor reason, nor modesty.

Neither piety, nor morals, nor modesty
