أرىI see للنساءin women الماشياتwho walk حلاوةsweetness
فهلso, are...? هنthey حلواتsweet كذاlike this فيin المقاصيرthe secluded chambers
I see sweetness in women as they walk.
I see grace in women as they walk,
Are they, then, just as sweet in their secluded chambers?
Are they so graceful inside their rooms?
ولستand I am not أرىI see فيin إِلْقتيmy she-wolf إنif مشتshe walked وإنand if
أقامتshe stayed سوىexcept مقتloathing وكرهand hatred وتمريرand embitterment
Yet I see nothing in my she-wolf, whether she walks or
When she passes by or stays put, I see
stays, except loathing, hatred, and bitterness.
Naught but spite, hate and annoyance.
أراهاI see her بعينيwith my own eyes حيثwherever كانتshe was بعينهاher very self
فهلso, does...? ذوone with عمىblindness غيريother than me يراهاhe sees her منamong الحورthe houris
I see her with my own eyes, wherever she may be, just as she is.
I see her with my eyes as she was with hers
So does a blind man other than me see her as one of the houris?
Is there a blinder man than I who sees angels in her?
