And how often it brought despair after raising them!
And how much it despaired after its hopes.
واعجبand more astonishing منthan ذاthis ركونtrust الورىhumankind
واعجب من ذا ركون الورى
اليهاin it علىdespite خبرknowledge of اطباعهاits dispositions
اليها على خبر اطباعها
And more astonishing than this is humankind’s trust
More amazing is how people still incline
In it, despite knowing its nature.
Towards it, knowing well its temperament.
