ومنand from الدنياthis world ارتضىhe accepted خلاقهhis allotted share
ومن الدنيا ارتضى خلاقه
انthat يكونhe be العمرthroughout life عبدa slave to قدرهاits fate
ان يكون العمر عبد قدرها
when he has accepted as his lot in this world
And one who is pleased with this world's Creator
to be, all his life, a slave to its fate?
To let life be a slave to fate?
