    تشبه الدينار والدرهم

    They claimed the world was round,

    Resembling the dinar and the dirham.

  2. قلت اذ فاتت ثلاثتها

    ناظري لم ادر ما يزعم

    I said: since all three had eluded

    My sight, I did not know what was being claimed.
