  1. من سره عاجل الدنيا فسوف يرى

    ما فيه مشجبه في ساعة الاجل

    Whoever delights in this world's immediate pleasures will come to see

    that in which his undoing lies, at the hour of death.

  2. لا غرو ان كان منهوما بعاجلها

    فانما خلق الانسان من عجل

    No wonder he hungers insatiably for its immediate pleasures,

    for humankind was created of nothing but haste.
