ينُمى  وذا  لا  يدرِك  الأشياء

ينُمى وذا لا يدرِك الأشياء

There are two madmen in the universe

One grows, the other does not grasp things

هذا   يدير   العاقلون   جنونَه

هذا يدير العاقلون جنونَه

وجنون   ذاك   يدّبر  العقلاء

وجنون ذاك يدّبر العقلاء

The sane manage this one's madness,

The wise control the madness of this one

and that one's madness directs the sane.

While the madness of that one controls the wise
