نظمتُ   في  كل  أنحاء  الحياة  فما

نظمتُ في كل أنحاء الحياة فما

أرنو    لشيء    بها    إلاّ   يكلمنّي

أرنو لشيء بها إلاّ يكلمنّي

I have composed verse on every aspect of life, and so

I composed throughout the corners of life, yet

I gaze at nothing in it that does not speak to me.

I yearn for nothing in it that does not speak to me

وزّعت شخصي على الدنيا بأجمعها

وزّعت شخصي على الدنيا بأجمعها

فحيث   تقرأني   بالشعر  تُبصرني

فحيث تقرأني بالشعر تُبصرني

I have scattered myself across the whole world;

I spread my being over the whole world

so wherever you read me in verse, you see me.
