ملأ الربيعُ الأرض من زهَر

ملأ الربيعُ الأرض من زهَر

يتملّك    الألباب    والنظرا

يتملّك الألباب والنظرا

Spring has filled the earth with flowers

That captivate minds and the gaze.

من  لي  باجنحة  أطير  بها

من لي باجنحة أطير بها

كيلا  تلامس أرجلي الزهرا

كيلا تلامس أرجلي الزهرا

Who will give me wings with which to fly,

So that my feet do not touch the flowers?
