تَذَرُ العَناجيجَ الجيادَ بِقَفرَةٍ
مَرَّthe motion of الدَموكِthe great well-pulley بِمِحصَدٍwith a tightly twisted rope وَرِجامِand a stone weight
مَرَّ الدَموكِ بِمِحصَدٍ وَرِجامِ
It leaves the fleet, noble steeds behind in a barren waste,
The horses left the meadows barren,
Moving like a great well-pulley with a tightly twisted rope and a stone weight.
As the warriors passed with their swords and spears.
