وَصِلْ عَلى رَغْمِ الحَسُودِ

وَصِلْ عَلى رَغْمِ الحَسُودِ

إِلَيْكَ سَعْداً يَا سَعِيدُ

إِلَيْكَ سَعْداً يَا سَعِيدُ

And bring, despite the envious one,

Sa'd close to you, O Sa'id.

فَدَنَا البعِيدُ وَيَا هَنَا ال

فَدَنَا البعِيدُ وَيَا هَنَا ال

مُشْتَاقِ إِذْ يَدْنُو البَعِيدُ

مُشْتَاقِ إِذْ يَدْنُو البَعِيدُ

So the distant one drew near—and oh, the joy of the

yearning lover when the distant one draws near!
