A welcome to the breeze's harbor and greetings,

And memories of my youth and childhood,

Bearing greetings from the people of the valley,

And telling of them in words that were strange.

I knew them from his words, but I

Denied patience from my lost times.

Oh my reproacher, reproach me for loving them,

I have not abandoned finding them.

Do not blame me, for I am enamored with sorrow,

Finding sweetness and goodness in their company.

When passion descended on me, I lost my patience

And pitched my tent in their courtyard.

You are absent yet present in my soul,

I ransom your presence with my soul, even in absence.
