‏إن لم تكن لشروقه المفتاحـا

How can my morning be morning

How could my dawn become morning

if you are not the key to its sunrise?

‏صُبحت نوراً ياشبيهَ سنائــه

‏صُبحت نوراً ياشبيهَ سنائــه

‏وسُقيت من شهدالرضا أقداح

‏وسُقيت من شهدالرضا أقداح

May you be greeted with light in the morning, O you who resemble its radiance,

You have dawned as a light, O look-alike of its radiance

and may you be given cups of the honey of contentment.

And I have drunk from the wine of contentment
