يَقولون لي دع نَصرَ مَن جاءَ بِالهُدى

يَقولون لي دع نَصرَ مَن جاءَ بِالهُدى

وَغالِب لَنا غِلابَ كُلِّ مُغالِبِ

وَغالِب لَنا غِلابَ كُلِّ مُغالِبِ

They say to me: Stop supporting the one who came with guidance,

They say to me, "Leave the defense of him who brought guidance,

and strive on our behalf to overcome every rival.

And conquer for us the conquest of every conqueror,

وَسَلِّم إِلَينا أَحمَداً وَاِكفَلَن لَنا

وَسَلِّم إِلَينا أَحمَداً وَاِكفَلَن لَنا

بُنيّاً وَلا تَحفل بِقَولِ المُعاتِبِ

بُنيّاً وَلا تَحفل بِقَولِ المُعاتِبِ

And hand Ahmad over to us, and be sure to foster for us

And deliver Ahmad to us, and provide for us

a young son, and pay no heed to the reproacher's words.

Sons, and pay no heed to the words of the reproachers."

فَقُلتُ لَهُم اللَهُ رَبّي وَناصِري

فَقُلتُ لَهُم اللَهُ رَبّي وَناصِري

عَلى كُلِّ باغٍ مِن لُؤَيِّ بنِ غالِبِ

عَلى كُلِّ باغٍ مِن لُؤَيِّ بنِ غالِبِ

So I said to them: God is my Lord and my helper

So I said to them, "God is my Lord and my supporter

against every aggressor from the line of Lu'ayy ibn Ghalib.

Against every rebel from Lu'ay son of Ghalib."
