O bridge of Nawbandajan and its monastery,
And wide-eyed, oryx-like beauties—the houris befriend none but them.
شربناwe drank بهاin it والروضand the garden يخلعbestows زهرهits blossoms
شربنا بها والروض يخلع زهره
علىupon الشربthe drinkers والاشجارand the trees تنثرscatter طيرهاtheir birds
على الشرب والاشجار تنثر طيرها
We drank there while the garden bestowed its blossoms
Upon the drinkers, and the trees scattered their birds.
